Man Alive - that is so exciting. I get very excited when God gives people children when they have been struggling to have them.
I recently read 'Some Mother Do'Ave 'Em - other Don't' -(H&A Anson) - I sat and cried my way through the book. Always interesting when you are sitting on a train on your way to the south west - the dude sitting next to me look somewhat baffled.
I love the saying 'we ask for cabbage when we could ask for cream'.

Another good book
Another great book for people struggling to concieve or carry to term is 'Supernatural childbirth' by Jackie Mize, Really helped me when I was trying for my son. Ignore the cheesy American cover with soft-focus picture of bald baby sporting hideous hairband (presumably to let us know she's a girl!). This book is hot stuff, packed full of helpful bible verses and incredible stories of women overcoming every sort of obstacle to fullfill their destiny of becoming mums.
