Concrete versus new life
First the sun, then the rain (sounds like a familiar song!) – everytime I look out of the window the vegetation seems to have grown another foot high! As I was trying to weed my path the other day, I felt God spoke to me as I attempted to pull out the bits of grass that had grown up through the cracks in the concrete slabs. Even though the slabs of concrete look and feel and are rock hard, yet a tiny seed underneath had somehow found its way to the light and grown through – amazing! The season is right and the time has come! You can’t stop those things growing and thriving (until I come along determined to weed them out!)
Sometimes life seems very intractable and hard too. Yet if we have the life of Jesus (John 3:36), have hung on in there when the going gets tough and things are dark and cold (Matt 24:13), when the season is right we can’t help but grow and thrive – even in the most difficult places!
I believe the season is on us now for coming through -not only in the natural world but also in the spiritual world, we are seeing signs of the life of Jesus in the most remarkable places. Life and health from Jesus in remarkable ways, and against remarkable odds, can be seen every night on the TV or on your PC as you tune in to see what’s happening in Lakeland, Florida. Go on, give it a go! Follow the link to ‘Florida healing outpouring’, or investigate via Google, YouTube, or God TV, and see it for yourself!
